Plane Poiseuille Flow in a Rarefied Gas with General Boundary Conditions

Plane Poiseuille flow between parallel plates is investigated using a numerical technique and a variational tecnique which apply to the linearized Boltzmann equation. General boundary conditions are imposed in order to describe the interaction of the gas molecules with the solid walls, allowing for surface layers with different physical structures as well.
